Spiritual Art Making means meditative art, mindful based doodling and abstract drawing. Autonomic art is a form of meditation that channels your subconscious mind, by slowing the breath, relieving tension and anxiety, and clearing the mind to open the third eye. This practice allows the benefits of meditation by easing us into our breath and the youthful, connected feeling of using a pencil again, without the intimidation of “clearing your mind”. I practice this method in daily meditations and by teaching others I hope to show how the benefits of breathing, setting intentions, manifestation, ritual and other spiritual concepts are easily in reach for even the busiest modern mind. This practice offers you the opportunity to show up for yourself, where you can actuate self-care with a dedicated space and time for simple meditative art making.
